I have been away from Linux (Ubuntu) for a while and just tried to install Streamtuner in 10.04.Very few streams available to load.Xiph seems to be the only one that will throw up a list.Is it true that development has ceased on Streamtuner. It was such a neat solution to Internet Radio from a listening and recording aspect.I know Shoutcast has gone through some change but is it possible to automatically load streams through this on Streamtuner any longer.

Tried Streamtuner2 over the last couple of weeks, and been fairly impressed.

Hi peta,

Is it true that development has ceased on Streamtuner.

I believe this is the case. On the streamtuner website (http://www.nongnu.org/streamtuner/):

Status
I am no longer working on streamtuner. At the time of this writing (December 3, 2007), the latest release still works well (except for the Live365 support), but it is unlikely that there will be another release of streamtuner in its current form.
