Server For Non techies

Hey Forum,

So I currently have FreeNAS set up and running, but I don't think you can up/download files via the WebGUI. What do you guys suggest for a file share server to put pictures and stuff on so my parents 1,200 miles away can access? Please keep in mind that for them a GUI is almost necessary. I cannot have them SSH into the thing and the like. Also, that I am looking for a free solution and they are using Windows 7.

I think all it needs is a webserver running PHP.

For photos & videos you could look into gallery2 - it's in the repos.

For video, I used MC Media Player which is a flash system, you load the video onto your website together with a page for the player.
