Globalmenu problems

I have just installed the globalmenu to my system. Everything worked fine and updated. Now the problem is that the menu does not show up. Weird... Any alternitives for a cool looking menu bar like the mac OS lepord?

Presumably after installing the packages, you added the applet to your panel ?

A little more info on what exactly you have done, and where it went worng might help.
