Hi there,

I would like to completely erase my hard drive and install Ubuntu 10.04 on again fresh. I think some files have become corrupted from a power cut that I had last night whilst the laptop was plugged in (and turned on).

I'm not bothered about completely wiping the hard drive since there are no important files on it (at most there are just a lot of packages I downloaded from the repro...) I don't have any Windows installations either - it's just a simple; wipe the hard drive and reinstall all over again case :D

Any help/suggestions would be appreciated,
Thanks!
Stormsy.

If you don't have data you want to save then boot from the Live CD/USB and install!

That easy, eh?

Okay - thanks for your reply. I don't need to change the BIOS options since I left CD/DVD drive to be checked first from the first time I installed Ubuntu.

Thanks,
Stormsy.
