WLAN driver

I installed ubuntu 10.04 in my laptop (hp dv6 1337tx). I downloaded the desktop version of ubuntu and installed it. So, I don't have the WLAN driver! Can someone please help me to get the WLAN driver? Thanks in advance :)

Connect an eathernet cable, then look under System->Admin->Hardware Drivers.

Oh thank you :) But I do not have access to wired internet now! :( I have only wireless internet here! So, is there any other option:)?

maybe the drivers you need are on the CD, as you never said what your wifi card is.
Anyway try inserting your CD then open synaptic package manager
settings/repositories.. other software CD
add CD
then try updating your drivers
