This (http://ubuntu.sun.ac.za/index.php?title=W7_Theme) one will be easier and also easier to revert back if you change your mind.

This (http://ubuntu.online02.com/node/14) one will make it look like XP

It will make it look like XP or 7 but it won't be.

A GUI (usually pronounced GOO-ee) is a graphical (rather than purely textual) user interface to a computer.

... but the panel and everything else looks exactly like win 7

You're NOT going to be able to make Ubuntu look "exactly like" Win7. They are fundamentally different OSs and have some fundamentally different features.

For example, some of the more recent Aero-related features (i.e., Aero peek, Aero snap) require third-party customization apps in Ubuntu to even offer something resembling the feature.

The best you're going to be able to do is make some of the GUI stuff resemble some of the Win7 look-and-feel.

i cant uninstall all of it how can i restore the original theme

From the link page
WARNING NOTICES:

1. The script comes with no guarantees. Use at your own risk!
2. This script will change the look and feel of your Ubuntu desktop. There is no stable uninstall yet

So if this is true it may be that you can reload the desktop using this link to remove it then reinstall it. Make sure you choose the correct desktop in the distro you want to remove, ie the one your running..
http://www.psychocats.net/ubuntu/puregnome

I have the link default on a page that shows you how to remove the whole desktop, all you have to do is install it again and see if your original install setup returns. I have lost thunderbird doing this so some things will have to be reinstalled.

This is just installing the desktop your system=root stays the same all your saved media....etc never gets touched.

What about "There is no stable uninstall yet" is impossible for you to understand? YOU hosed up your system ... period.

Wilee-Nilee was gracious enough to post you some suggestions that MIGHT be able to fix your problem. If you followed his suggestions to the letter and you still have the problem -- you will need to do a complete reinstall to fix it.

And NEXT TIME -- read any cautions that the SW provider mentions.

you can reset your desktop using the instructions here (http://www.liberiangeek.net/2010/07/how-to-restore-your-desktop-back-to-normal-in-ubuntu-10-04-lucid-lynx/). Hope this helps.

Good advice often comes late.. I used link from the first post but it also changed my splash screen to "some" windows, which I didn't want, because I also left normal Ubuntu Gnome user.
