Hi!
I switched to ubuntu 10.04 recently, and for my great disappointment, I cannot enter/copy folder locations at the folder window's search bar cuz there's no any! There's just those buttons to switch between folder structure (that's useless anyway), but if I want to copy the location of the current folder Im in - I cant do that.
Please, if there is any way to enable text based search bar on folder window, or to copy current map's location, tell me how to do that.
Many thanks!

For copy, right click the last button then copy or left click the last button and Ctrl+C,
For paste, menu bar/Go/Location then CtrL+V or Ctrl+L then Ctrl+V

Cheers David

Just thought #-o I am using Maverick and the above works for it, I hope it works in Lucid as well.

Terminal (if you want to search):

locate <file name or part of the file's name>

Hi, for me it was easier to press Ctrl+L when my file browser opens. That changes the buttons (breadcrumbs) to the editable address bar.

To make this a permanent change you can follow the advice here:

Hope this helps.
