I have ubuntu 9.10 and I notice that when I run vmware machine from my usb drive (NTFS), it's very slow.
The same happens if I use an NTFS partition of my internal hd.
Vista, on the other hand, is much, much faster in the same test (usb)!
If I copy the VM in an ext2 partition, performance are good, so... is there a way to boost performance when I use other filesystems, especially NTFS usb drives?
Thanks in advance!
