NOTE: the Uppercase "U" is a bUg" this crappy browser Epiphany that doesn't want to type a lowecase U for soem reason.

When attempting to rUn Firefox 3.6.8 from the men: Nothing happens.

When attemoting to rUn Firefox 3.6.8 from a cammand shell I get this error:

/usr/lib/firefox-3.6.8/firefox-bin: error while loading shared libraries: libpng12.so.0: failed to map segment from shared object: Permission denied

Wanted to know if this is an isse with FF and 9.10 only, so i can safely ypgrade to 10.04.1 LTS. And jst remoev FF and reinstall.

Thanks

Try reinstalling libpng; Open a terminal and run:

sudo apt-get install libpng12-0

Missed FF, so i'm on my XP box. Don't judge. Anywhoo, uhh..I went ahead and uninstalled Firefox anyway, so I can have a fresh install.

I'll try this when I dual boot back on Ubuntu.

Thanks for the input.
