I made a usb startup stick from the facility in Administration on 10.04 to replace the Linpus Lite on the Acer Aspire One but when I restart with the usb in, I get a message

"Unknown keyword gfxboot in configuration file
vesa.32 not a COM32R image"

This just gets repeated ad infinitum down the screen

Anyone seen this? Any ideas please?

I'm afraid the "facility" did not configure the USB boot options properly. It happens a lot.

I suggest you use the tried and tested UNETBOOTIN (http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net) utility. Click on the name to download it. If on Vista or 7 run the UNETBOOTIN (http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net) with administrator privileges or it will not work properly.
