It works, tried it out.

Hello

I've been using Ubuntu for about a year now, but I'm no expert in the advanced aspects.

I had Ubuntu 10.04 and Windows 7 working together for some time now, and I just re-installed Windows 7 over itself, as it was giving me problems.

There was no dual boot after that install, so I came to the forums for answers. I followed these instructions (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Grub2#Reinstalling%20from%20LiveCD), only to later realise that I'm actually using the Live CD for Ubuntu 9.04 and not 10.04.

Now I've got a Grub 1.5 boot screen similar to the grub command line, saying that "You can use minimalistic bash commands", etc..

I'm now downloading Ubuntu 10.04 and will be burning it onto a new CD. Will the re-installation of Grub2 be as simple as the guide above, and overwrite Grub 1.5, or is there any other action I need to take?
