Hey, I have a question regarding the ubuntu minimal CD..
On the site (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Installation/MinimalCD) it says that the packages are downloaded at the time of install instead of having them on the CD itself.
But does this mean that when I install using the minimal CD, that once the install is complete teat I will have a fully fledged installation of Ubuntu?
The reason I ask, is that I want to install a "bare-bones" ubuntu, that is just the minimal stuff (i.e Kernel, required libs etc) but has no desktop, no default apps etc. So I can install just the bits I want..
Is the minimal CD what I'm after?
Cheers
