visual probs with desktop

Hi

After that latest updates, every thing on screen increased (got enlarged) as if it was using assistive technologies - which it isn't. How do I restore it to normal. It not only looks ugly but it's difficult to use as icons on the desk top are now off screen.

I've tried system>appearances and I've tried system>monitors and I've tried system>assistive technologies - I can't find anywhere to restore how the desktop looks.

I'm not sure what happened, my icons got a lot smaller yesterday for some reason, I fixed it by using Gnome Color Chooser and just setting my icons as big like I had it before and it works fine now.

I tried and that and it didn't work - but my problem wasn't software it was hardware. The monitor cable had come loose :oops: and the computer wasn't able to detect which monitor I had.

It pays to always check your cables are plugged in.
