Trying to move away from Oracle's products... that includes Openoffice... :(

I downloaded Lotus Symphony from IBM http://symphony.lotus.com/software/lotus/symphony/home.nsf/home

Obs: I downloaded the 3 beta 3 because I wanted to see what features it is going to have in the next stable version.


After answering many questions and clicking here...and there, I finally got it installed!

Yes - they contribute a significant amount of code to the Linux Kernel. They also develop Eclipse, and I've heard they do an open-source implementation of Java.
