View Full Version : [ubuntu] GNOME Themes & Icons

As the "Ubuntu Software Centre" initially does not have all the icons (Fonts, under Games and Science & Engineering), I am trying to figure out how Themes and Icons are installed in Ubuntu 10.04.
I know where to find them, and install them, but I can not figure out where every theme and icon is installed.

The documentation at http://art.gnome.org/ does not really help me out.

Where are all Themes and Icons installed?

The themes you install yourself are in your home/ hidden folders. The themes that come with Ubuntu are located in the file system User> share> theme folder . Some of the icon themes from Look .org are incomplete, I have found three missing the fonts icon for the software center.
