In my humble opinion, Ubuntu is 10x better than Android. Android is more bang for the buck over an Ipad, but Ubuntu is a real desktop OS that can run on minimal hardware depending on your isntall.
I think Mac is really concerned about how cheap tablets running a FULL desktop operating system are going to make their products look.....not bad quality, but over priced for what you get.
I think the best market for Ubuntu is going to be the hybrid tablets with fold under keyboards.....I dont much care for tablets that lack a keyboard.
