View Full Version : [ubuntu] Lenovo 3000 C200 WIRED NETWORK not working

August 23rd, 2010, 08:59 PM
Hello everyone and thanks for your time.
I'll start off by saying I'm using a Lenovo 3000 C200, which had been using two previous verisons of Linux Mint, the version LXDE right before switching to ubuntu 10. Wired connections and networking had been working properly.

I upgraded to Linux Mint 9 Isadora but then the Internet connection is disabled. When I try to choose a driver by system requisition, i get an error trying to fetch the files. Then the OS was replaced by Ubuntu 10 (which looks and works just great otherwise) but can't get internet or network either.

I tried using a Puppy and Mint LXDE live cds (since the wired network had worked well there) with no results.

Looking up for this problem I have seen many others get this specific laptop networking out of the box, so i'm very confused.
Plase, help me out here. Any suggestions?

Thanks ahead.
