Unable to set boot from CD

I have a Compaq Presario 7150 with Phoenix 4.04 BIOS. I want to install Xubuntu 9.04 from a CD but there is no option to boot from CD. Currently Windows98 is installed.

According to this, your BIOS should be able to boot from CD.

Check for an BIOS update. If one is available, install it and try again. Also, check if the option is disabled in the BIOS settings.
