i'm pretty sure that this isn't my laptop's problem
because it's only like 2 weeks since my laptop arrived
and my friend laptop had the same problem O_o.
both of us are using genuine windows 7,
he's home premium while mine is home basic.
and my 3rd friend is using a pirated windows 7.
recently both of us the genuine windows 7 ones got a lan port
problem after installing ubuntu. Then once my other friend with the dell laptop installed ubuntu, as soon as he restarted the computer it seems that they aren't able to detect any OS inside his HDD. which he had formatted now.
i've used ubuntu for like 1 week now and it works like
a charm until today now.

currently i'm using wifi to access everything. and it's not the
lan wire problem as my bro is using the same lan wire to go online.
are there any suggestions?
i really dont wanna be the same and format as i've got alot of data here >_>

both of us (having the problems) are using dell laptops just in case if it helps and my friend who's been using ubuntu for sometime is using a desktop one.

ok well.
i'm not sure why but after reinstalling the drivers i've fixed the problem XD.
sorry and hope that someone can delete this thread >_>.
but it doesn't solve the problem why i had to reinstall the drivers....
hmmm anyone got any idea?
i'm using dell vostro 3700 while my friend who reformated his whole comp and lost his genuine home premium is inspirion 14R.

ok updated...
my friend who's using the pirated windows 7 after updating ubuntu
has problems now with his lan port now.
does anyone has any fix for this? i'm able to fix this by updating
the drivers, but it's a bit annoying each time ubuntu has an update
and have to redo the whole thing.
(sorry for like kinda spamming)
