Hi, I 'm having problem with the installation procedure in ubunt 9.10 live cd. I've downloaded the iso image from ubuntu website and then i burned it to cd at low speed. The cd start working very well but after i choose "install ubuntu",finishing all 6 steps and press on install button the installation process is not work and rather than that it's start like if i choose "try ubunt without any change". I burn anew cd but i'm having the same problem and before that i try to install the iso image on windos OS and it works. My PC is new and it is using Gigabyte P31 Motheboard, Intell core 2 duo processore, 2GB DDR2 RAM, NAVIDIA video card and 320GB HDD (SATA). Note: my hard disk is empty. Any one can help.

Did you check the md5sum of your downloaded image?

Why don't you go with 10.04, a newer version might work better.

Did you take the CD out the first time when installation finished?

If you left it in, the CD will just start again and default to trying Ubuntu.
