Ubuntu crashed & i was unable to restore. Finally got ubuntu 10.04 running under windows xp. Now i have the old unwanted partitions from the crashed ubuntu. I can get rid of them with gparted in 10.04 but what does that do for the boot. I currently get a grub on first boot with the unwanted ubuntu & windows. When i selecte windows i get another grub which leads me to the 10.04 running under windows. Anyone got any ideas on how to boot initialy to windows xp. TIA

To get a better idea of your setup, please boot the computer with the Ubuntu CD choosing to try not install.

Click on the link at the bottom of my post and follow the instructions there.

Post the results back here and wrap the text with the # tag please.

Thanks.
