Everything was going fine with my new laptop. It had windows 7 installed and i had partitioned the drive so I could dual boot with ubuntu. So what changed?
I found that I only needed windows when i wanted to use itunes for my iphone. I never really used it for any other purpose and so it was a waste of space to me. I decided that I would put windows xp on my old desktop and use that exclusively for my iphone. So thats what i did.
I then carried out a fresh install of Ubuntu on my laptop.
You see the moral of this story?
i'm an "either or" type of guy. In the same way as a man can't love two women, you can't dedicate a machine (- and my laptop is one heck of a machine -) to two operating systems and sleep well at night.
Ubuntu is on my laptop. I have an Ubuntu laptop.
