Putting Ubuntu on Windows XP PC

I have successfully burned Ubuntu on a CD today... The latest version.

It worked fined on my Laptop that's running Windows 7...

But, on the XP PC it will bring up the loading Ubuntu logo then stops...

Error says "something about Mounting."

Can anyone help? =]

What are the specs. for the Windows XP PC?

We need to know about RAM and graphics card in particular.
