Cannot figure out how to change KDE window appearance from "super-ugly"

I'm trying out KDE (switching from Gnome) and all the windows have the blocky feel of Windows 3.1. Presumably this is trivial to change (via a theme/whatever) but I have been unable to figure out how to do it through "System Settings".
