Movable mouse pointer on black screen.
The keyboard seems responsive, because pressing ctrl-alt-f1 makes the mouse pointer dissapear, but the screen is still black.
Other logins work fine. so I am thinking about deleting and recreating this user, but would be nice to know the reason.
