Do u have a good relationship with ur brother or sister? (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1555503)

Pulled *straight* from the Café description:

Almost any non-tech-support topic may be discussed here. Discussions on religion and politics are not allowed, except for politics directly related to free and open source issues. Any topic or discussion that causes problems or drama will be closed. This area is intended for fun and community building, not arguments. Please take those elsewhere. Thanks!

Just running through the criteria in my head:

1. Non-tech-support topic. [x]
2. Religion [ ]
3. Politics [ ]
4. "Causing problems" [ ]
5. Drama [ ]
6. Arguments [ ]
7. Fun [ ] <-- granted
8. Community-building [x] <-- a community gathers behind those who experience personal issues such as this.

I gotta ask why it was closed when it met, nearly in full, the criteria of a Café thread?

If "discussion of relationships of any kind is not within the scope of the Ubuntu forums focus", then why aren't threads concerning installation of Ubuntu on girlfriends/boyfriends' computers without prior approval closed on sight? How about any thread where carlee (forgive me, carlee) mentions her husband? Or any thread where I mention my wife? Or, in a more reaching manner, posts comparing Ubuntu to "your first lover"? (http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=9720113&postcount=4)

Inquiring minds want to know.

someone with a less-than-awesome-relationship with his brother.

I do not see a problem with the thread at this time, and so will re-open the thread.
