I loaded Ubuntu 10.04 on my PC that has XP sp2 with 1 gig of ram. I can us it for about 5 min and it seems to freeze except for the mouse. I have restarted by power off and choosing one of the other installs, the last one was a 32, the one before is a 23 and the one before that is a 22. I have also tried the recovery and that has the same results. Any suggestions. I have searched the forum but failed to find a like problem.
Thanks Robert):P

Actually searching this forum on "10.04 freeze mouse AND Keyboard" brings up dozens of threads since last March on j10.04... Most where various problems- not just "one" particular problem. I even had it happening to me with an earlier 10.04 beta after an update.

What "is" your ihardware (especially video) and how much disk space fo you have left?

I read the last post and am running in failsafe graphics mode for 24 hours okay. Rebooted in the default choice linux 2.6.32-24 generic and it froze in 5 min. Using SIS 760 video. Any thought on that.

Thanks Robert
