I'm trying to do a minimalist installation on my ASUS Eee PC 1201HAB, and I'm hitting a little snag. On the hardware-detection phase; there's an alert that a network-interface cannot be found, on account of not finding a network-device. As the problem is encountered very early on, I am completely unsure as to what I'm supposed to do. Even simply ignoring the issue, later downloading wicd through my standing installation (alongside which I'm attempting to install Minibuntu), isn't an option; as the installation demands that I connect to a mirror.

I am using the standard Minimal CD Image: the Alternate CD encounters the same problem, and both are of 9.10 Karmic.

UPDATE:

I've learned that my network-card is Atheros Communications Inc. AR9285 Wireless Network Adapter (PCI-Express), if that carries with it any particular difficulties.
