View Full Version : [gnome] desktop's top left icon problem

I have noticed that the initial ordering of icons of my desktop is leaving a blank space on the top left corner. Recently I have changed my language but I am not sure when this began to happen.

unlock, middle click drag it back.

I am not refering to gnome-panel but the desktop itself

Thanks for your help, here is the screenshot (http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1097021/Screenshot.png). While I was taking it I saved the printed file in my Desktop folder and then the icon of that new file appeared on the blank space.

open the file browser go to Desktop & press ctrl+h to show hidden, make sure you don't have.

This is probably just some odd behaviour of the auto-arrange icon because you mounted some removable media, like a USB stick or a optical drive.

Nothing serious, just re-arrange the icons the way they where.

That was the problem. I installed ZumoDrive and it had checked the autostart option, i disabled it and now my icons are ok. Thank you very much.
