Just got an Acer Z5600-1352 quad core 23 touch screen pc.
Ubuntu live discs, normal and alt, start up to a very messed up menu screen which mixes menus together if you pick startup options. It then loads kernel to boot, and goes to a blinking cursor on a black screen and does nothing.
If it helps any, I've also found that a gparted live cd (latest edition) gives only "Operating System Not Found"
Have currently switched to Sabayon Live disc as it functions perfectly and starts up with no issues.
