I am a new user of Ubuntu. I have the latest, I believe.
How do I get the buttons to appear at the bottom of the screen, like in this picture? http://www.tribbleagency.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/ubuntu1.jpg

If you are talking about the dock - no idea which one it is - could be awn.

Hi,

It's a program called Docky. Search for it on the Ubuntu Software Center. I just started using it yesterday. It's pretty cool.

If you open any program it'll appear on the dock. If you wish to keep it as a short cut, you'll need to right click on the icon and select pin to dock
