GRUB & Win7

Hi all,

Almost a year ago I moved from dual-booting XP/Ubuntu to just Win 7, because I couldn't make dual boot work with it and I had to have windows for work. My Ubuntu install is still on disk and I'd like to recover GRUB and use Ubuntu again. So I have 2 questions.
1) Does GRUB work with Win7 (it probably does, just want to make sure),
2) Is there an easy way of restoring it?

The title mentions 9.10 but it also works for 10.04
