Hello All,

Could anyone tell me where to configure Ubuntu to make it boot direct into the system without showing login window.?

The task I would like to accomplish is to use Vinagre VNC client to remote-control Ubuntu 10.04 LTS Desktop running on one of my machines from another machine also running the same type OS.

Problem Description:

Machine (A) is where I would like to be logging in remotely.
Machine (B) the control system for machine (A)
I plan to use Machine (A) without monitor.

I have configured the user on Machine (A) to have automatic login access and since only one OS installed on the system GRUB doesn't load during boot process. Now I can login without password but I must first select a user.

My problem is how I can completely disable the display of login window.
Disable language selection bar that when system language is set to German.

If there is any better or alternative way to accomplish the above task, I would be thankful for the information.

Thanks in advance
