A complete beginner thats what I am,
Looked at forums an decided that I need to download the latest driver from http://eng.ralinktech.com.tw/support.php?s=2
I download the Diver2010_07_16_RT2860_Linux_STA_v2.4.0.0.tar.bz2 from the website (great), but when I try to unpack it
i.e Terminal
user@ubuntu:~$ tar -jxvf Diver2010_07_16_RT2860_Linux_STA_v2.4.0.0.tar.bz2
i got
tar: Diver2010_07_16_RT2860_Linux_STA_v2.4.0.0.tar.bz2: Cannot open: No such file or directory
tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now
tar: Child returned status 2
tar: Exiting with failure status due to previous errors
If I use archive manager
bzip2: (stdin) is not a bzip2 file.
tar: Child returned status 2
tar: Exiting with failure status due to previous errors
Whats wrong ? the file is only 754K were as the RT2860WebUI is 2.1MB
should I be using rt2860webUI and whats the difference
