Hey,
I just installed Cream text editor yesterday and I love it. I have a few small issues I thought maybe you all could clear up for me:
When writing in Python, if I use the mouse to copy and paste text, as an example, the result appears correct, but when I attempt to run the program I sometimes get invalid syntax errors where there should be none.
I eventually figured out that opening the file in Gedit, then deleting all spaces (between lines, not words), then re-tabbing everything gets things running. However, when I open the file in Gedit, things look fine, so it's a guessing game as to where the problem lie.
I have a feeling it has something to do with Tabs. In Gedit, I have them set for 4 spaces. I could find no setting in Cream to adjust tabs. Is that even my issue?
This issue is a major annoyance.
Also, I know I've seen Cream referred to as an IDE. I've figured out how to open new windows, etc. But I can't figure out if there's a way to open a terminal or command line in one of the windows? This would be most usefull, though I could live without it.
I've checked the help system that came with cream, but those are deeply technical and I won't pretend I understand them. I also checked out the help system on Cream's homepage, but couldn't find what I'm looking for. Any advice would be appreciated as I really love this editor so far.
Thanks
P.S. "Dolla dolla bills y'all!"
