all charaters marked yellow in Firefox

ubuntu 10.4 Netbook installed in DELL GX270. P4 3G. 2G memory. Intel 82865G graphic card.

using Xmanager2.0 to be a X server in my laptop.

How to get rid of the background yellow in the Firefox when I run firefox in Dell but forward the X to my laptop?

The act of forwarding Firefox should not render such highlighted text.

Start Firefox in safe mode to see if the problem persists. Just add -safe-mode to firefox command.
