Multiple monitors

Hi all

At the office I connect a 19" monitor to my laptop (looking at big detailed drawings is not fun on a 10.1") but it's a major operation every morning having to go into "Monitor", switching off laptop monitor, switching on 19" and then having to rearrange everything on the desktop again (tool bar icons, top and bottom) and having to rearrange Evolution's layout etc. etc.

Isn't there an easier way, something with multiple profiles? Plug in screen, press short cut key and voila ;)

have you tried plugging the external in before you turn the laptop on?
