Hi,
First systems specs
ASUS M3A78-VM MB
Phenom X4
4GB ram
3 SATA drives
NVIDIA GTS250 Eco edition
Ubuntu 10.04 x86
I have an LG W2241T connected to the DVI port
an Insignia 42" HDTV connected with VGA.
I am trying to get my xorg to display right but am having major issues with it.
1. I can't get the NVIDIA control panel to give me any higher resolution than 1280x720. I know it works fine, because when I boot into windows 7 it easily allows me to switch the TV into 1920x1080.
I know I have to do something to edit the xorg.conf, but have no idea how to do so. No idea which lines to add and where.
