So I like taking screenshots of my desktop and was wondering if there was something where I can press the print screen and it will automatically upload it to the web? Like an application or something? Thanks. :)

I use TinyGrab for OS X, but it doesn't work on Linux. Maybe this (http://shutter-project.org/2009/03/shutter-070-released/)?

There is also an uploader script for omploader.org out there somewhere, which you could tie to a button or keystroke, and use the output to copy and paste a link. If I remember right, it uses curl for the actual transmission, and the rest was ... bash? Sorry, can't remember. ... :-k

Where are you going to upload them? There's a site for *nix screenshots, Unixporn (unixporn.com), and there is a screenshot taker/uploader for it available at http://uberleethackerforce.deepgeek.us/. It's called ysplz and you'll find it by clicking "prods".
