Hi!

My grand daughter visited my office today and asked what was on a spare desk.

I told her it was a typewriter.

She looked at me and asked what does it do!

LOL

Just tell her it's a old-fashioned word processor and then show her the bottle of white out (the delete function).

My grandfather has one... but i like it because it feels nice and sturdy, unlike some computers these days. The main problem is the Carpal Tunnel Syndrome :P they really are not ergonomic. Pretty great anyway, for being about 25 years old. ;)

I have one in my office, and use it several times a week.

Less useful than they used to be, but still essential in my line of work.

Awesome!

I want one, would be a nice upgrade from this computer.
No annoying popups
No loading time
No virus
No mouse batteries to change
Lower electricity bill
Full privacy, noone to read my stuff.
No boot problems or errors.
No daily updates.

Yep, single tasking should get the job done quicker.

I learned to type on an electric typewriter way back when. They were pretty nice actually.

I never could figure out the whole wordprocessor thing that was in between the typewriter and microcomputer.

What ? Lower electricity?

I think that mine never heard of such thing!

It does not get much use these days but brings back memories to grandpa...
