Hard drive: 60gb.

Goal: To install win 7 hp 64 bit and ubuntu 10.04 LTS dual boot on 60gb hard drive.
My ubuntu skills: None.

I have installed win7 on a 30gb partition.

I want to install ubuntu using the alternate installation iso in order to get
full encryption.

From here I don't what to do.

If I during ubuntu installation choose "guidet full hard drive encryption",
then what happens?

- will win7 be overwritten?
- will ubuntu create a 30gb partition for itself, and install system encrypted on
that partition?
- will ubuntu create a 30gb partition for itself, and encrypt itself and win7?

If I have to manually create a ubuntu 30gb partition in order to get full
ubuntu system encryption, can anyone tell me how step by step?

If I get ubuntu full system partition encryption, will I then be able to encrypt win 7 with
true crypt pre boot full system partition encryption? And getting dual boot by using
this boot manager: http://www.plop.at/

Finally: win 7 is 64bit, does that mean, that ubuntu has to be 64bit too?

Thanks.
