I will soon be installing ubuntu under a laptop with a 160 g hard drive. However, i plan on installing Windows XP under a virtual box also. Should I create another partition for XP and if so, how big should it be.-

Thank you in advance for help.

That's the way I did it and it works fine. I created a separate partition for each of the 4 ******* variants I wanted to run under VirtualBox.

When creating the virtual machine I told virtualbox to use the partition that I had created for that version of windows and did the install there.
