Is flyback still developed?

I've used Back in Time, but something just doesn't work. It's supposed to provide incremental updates? I just get full snapshots time after time. It could also be because I'm doing it wrong.

I'm also looking at CrashPlan, which offers backing up to other systems, your own server AND an online spot. Unlike Mozy and Carbonite, it has a Linux version and you can even set it up on a headless server so you can back up your Win/Mac/Lin/Sol machine to the server.

I have only used Back in Time and Deja Dup . Back in Time is simple and stores your backup on one image, but now you have me curious about Fly Back.

I prefer Back in Time, but all such utilities seem rather half-baked compared to Apple's Time Machine.

Unfortunately, I agree. Lots of good ideas out there but nothing compares to Time Machine; which is a shame because a killer app like that would be a real feather in Linux's desktop hat.
