Gnome has windows that are not resizeable and are being cutoff on the bottom by my netbook's screen.

I am using Ubuntu Netbook Edition 10.04 Lucid Lynx on an HP Mini 210, and my screen resolution is 1024x600.

Attached is a screenshot of the File Management Preferences windows being cut off by the bottom of the screen.

To raise your window so you can see the buttons, press "Alt" when you click on the window to move it. You'll be able to move the window up beyond the panel and see your buttons.

I too have the same netbook and had the same issues as you. It's a little annoying but it only happens with certain windows. The post above will be your solution though
