Just wondering... I installed ubuntu minimalist with xfce as the windows manager, couldnt be happier, just thought about the performance and in taskmanager i got just 1 cpu thread... just wondering, does the kernel work on both cores? how about the operating system in general? how is linux for quad and dual cores? maybe something i should keep in mind in having the system work the best, maybe something i need to enable or is it all managed by the install? even for a minimalist install?
