going nuts with wifi until

i have an Acer aspire one netbook and been using Ubuntu nebook remix 10.04. Wifi has been terrible. Connection lasts about 5 minutes and then never returns, I have to reboot. I heard about Jolicloud and how it holds on to the connection. After checking i found out it's based on Jaunty 9.04. I installed the image for 9.04 and it's been wonderful. All night no disconnect. i'm in heaven. Anyone with an Acer Aspire one, give it a try. I hate to go backwards in distros but it's a solution.

I have a new ACER Aspire. I wasted weeks this spring until I used an XP driver with ndiswrapper.

Works perfectly, whenever you decide to move up to Lucid that's the way to go.
