Does anyone know the difference between ubuntuforums.org and theubuntuforums.org after looking at the latter I cannot understand why it exists?

People are free to create forums on any topic they wish, so that guy probably bought a domain name similar to this one, made his forum and off he goes. TheUbuntuForums.org was probably chosen for how close it is to this domain's URL and so that he could probably get a bit of the traffic destined for ubuntuforums.org. I'm sure you'll find plenty of other similar-URLed-domain names centered around other topics too.
