Installing Inkscape 0.46 and 0.47 simultaneously

Hi everyone

I need both the import functionality of Inkscape 0.47 (.eps import) and the output (eps output without cairo for use with psfrag in LaTeX) of inkscape 0.46.
Is there a way that I can install both these versions simultaneously on the same computer (ubuntu 10.04 LTS 64bits)?

..think you had to compile at least inkscape 0.46 to
house 2 versions simultaneously.
