Hello All
I've installed ubuntustudio 64 on my desktop PC. Ubuntustudio uses the alternate installer, and part way through you are asked to choose which of four application bundles you want to install.
I decided to not pick any to see what happened. Result: a functional Ubuntu Gnome desktop with all the admin functions, accessories, Firefox, Brasero, Sound Recorder and the totem Movie Player and nothing else.
Just thought this might be a relatively easy solution for those who prefer their own choice of software for music management, photo management and e-mail within the Ubuntu/Gnome framework.
I personally like the way it looks as well, but that can be changed easily for those that don't...
