Or at least that's what I figured, when watching videos from youtube, etc., the sound in the left channel turns into distorted high frequency noise, anyone had the same issue? Is there a fix for this? Sound in other applications works just fine.

EDIT: Oh, and I'm using the proprietary flash plugin, has worked just fine on my Ubuntu Studio on the exact same computer.

Please provide the output of the following commands and instructions. This will make sure I will have a good understanding of your Firefox and Flash installations, so I don't need to guess what might be happening to your system:

1 - Flash Version

Type about:config in Firefox address bar, then type plugin.expose_full_path in the filter, then double-click the same item in the results to make it true. Then type about:plugins in the address bar, find Shockwave Flash, copy the corresponding Path and Version and paste here. it should look lie the image below:

Nothing wrong with your Firefox and Flash install. Must be a pulseaudio issue.

See Flash Issues & Solutions (http://firefox-tutorials.blogspot.com/2010/06/flash-issues-solutions.html)

Yeah I guess, just noticed that the issue is not just in flash, all video file audio is messed up, however individual audio files work just fine. :/ Any ideas?
